EPICS K12 Teacher workshop in San Jose CA from Christine M. Benner's blog

EPICS engages teachers and students in making an impact in their own community while learning STEM content.

EPICSK12 is derived from the award winning design course at Purdue University for use in grades 6-12 as a full year class, as part of an existing course or as an after school program. It aligns with national and state standards including the Next Generation Science Standards. Integrating community engagement and STEM can reach diverse student populations including those traditionally underrepresentation within the STEM fields.

This workshop will introduce teachers to the EPICS learning environment and resources to implement it into their own schools.

Join us June 29-30, 2015 from 9:00-4:00 PM at the Santa Clara County Office of Education!

This workshop is Free and lunch will be provided.
